Anything at all. Your choice. What's the most Kansas way to get around?
Why do I ask, you say? Because I'm tired of hearing that the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is the Ford F-Series. I'm more interested in what the best vehicle for the state should be.
Also, if you think the most Kansas vehicle happens to be the F-Series, then by all means put it down.
And as always...
Choose wisely!
This is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , a 51-part series of Opposodes where I gather OppositeLock's view of America in the form of cars. Have at it.

Obviously you need something that goes fast in a straight line. Has to be a muscle car:

A Graham Model 97 seems about right.

Anything that will run long enough to get me out of KS.

Would also add an order of deportation, so that way you could never go back.
As if after seeing literally ANY other state in the US someone would ever go back to Kansas, but just need to be sure.

Kansas is just flat as a pancake, yeah? Nothing but miles and miles and miles of road to eat-up. And then it will snow. Yeah, I know what I'd pick.
GT as fuck.

Because fuck tornadoes!

I live in Kansas and I'm here to say Yup.

With so many miles of flat roads, but still plenty of 'weather' the choice is obvious.

Long, flat, straight roads? Here you go.

Actually we probably grow more wheat than corn.
edit: Summer and Winter wheat, 2 crops/year, corn is done in the fall.

I actually live in Kansas. Kansas City to be precise. And I chose the least Kansas way to get me around. And I love it. I chose a 370z nismo. Wouldn't change it for the world! (I would however like snow tires...)
![]() 02/18/2014 at 11:16 |

lol not that I used to see on the I70 corridor. Corn for days. I have friends in Russell and Hays and as soon as I would get off the highway there, same thing

If you are posting anything other than a truck, I guarantee you are wrong in the minds of 90% of Kansans

Hey now, it's a nice place to live.
I've been all over the US and grew up in Texas, and now I live in Kansas and love it hear, aside from our ass backwards politicians.

Drove the entire width of Kansas two years back and did not see a single Audi, but managed to spot a PMY Gallardo.

If you like being able to wave to your neighbors that are 30 miles away, but yet can still see you because it's so flat.
Sure it's great.
But for the rest of the world who likes to see something other than clouds, tornadoes, and toll roads it's not idealistic.
I live in Missou-rah (thats how the native folks say it), and it's not any better. But at least we have google fiber. So all hail our new computer overlords, and please let me find a high paying job in a state with some canyons to ride/drive.

A Syclone.
Eh? Get it?

Keep pouring on the hate, I don't mind.
To be fair, eastern Kansas has hills. Lawrence is a reasonably hilly and very pretty town. Wichita is flat, but there's something nice about that.
I'll take the cheap cost of living and nice people over expensive places with better 'scenery' any day. If I want to be somewhere more 'interesting' I can go visit.

Move stuffs and hoon. Also, save all your corny jokes for Nebraska

VW Passat TDI. Almost 800 miles on a tank - you won't have to stop once while passing through the state.
![]() 02/18/2014 at 11:45 |

No, it's not just flat as a pancake. Eastern Kansas has rolling hills. Out west is nothing.

I don't know that there's an Audi dealer in Kansas proper. Kansas City/Overland Park maybe, and maybe Topeka? Certainly not one out in Wichita, Audi's are rare.

Good choice. Syclone or not, old compact trucks are pretty common.

Depends on where you plan on moving. Now if you're referring to typical places like California, then you'd be right. But there are tons of places more with more scenery, culture, and depth than Kansas or Missouri could ever dream of that actually have a much lower cost of living.
Most of the places I'd move to don't even have property tax for vehicles, something that Missouri and Kansas both need to stop doing since their roads obviously don't see that money.

There is a very distinct possibility that I misunderstood the question and picked out what car I would travel through Kansas in, vs. what car would thoroughly represent Kansas.
Whoops.

No I think you're ok. S7 is a beauty and would be perfect for leaving Kansas as fast as possible

Any S class would do, but I'd prefer an S63
